Introduction

Put everything that you’re doing down and go to Digital Playground (DP). No seriously you have to see the way this site leaps out at you with the great design and only four letters can describe it: COOL. The landing page has Jenna James naked but with her hands covering all the vitals just tempting all those over 18 to go in.  Digital Playground was started way back in 1993 when we still weren’t sure what to make of the internet and has since then won a ton of awards. The site has not developed any particular niche more than the other a lot of content on a variety of hardcore themes with most DVDs running for 2 hours 30 minutes.

Content

This is a well designed site, a digital pimped passed by here and it shows with the way content can be accessed through the tabs on top. There’s an advanced search engine on the top tab and below that there is a video window with some of their latest content which you can watch. The free scenes are quite short under two minutes and below that there have several slightly older ones. Everything is in HD on this playground and it’s perhaps interesting to note that this site is a pioneer of the virtual sex genre.  The DVD titles are its most successful product and with names such as Bubblegumgirls, Ride or Die and Prey for the dying you can be sure that you will get nothing but quality entertainment from this site. The site has featured over 865 models and more than 2700 scenes you can choose from. The site has gone for quality over quantity with them preferring to produce high quality. There galleries are great with quality pictures with high resolution and crystal clarity. Digital Playground has some of the internet’s finest on its bankroll; Asa Akira’s been here, Teagan Presley too so has Sasha Grey, Madison Ivy and James Deen.  If you can control yourself for at least 20 minutes through watching those videos then my hats off to you you’re s stronger man than me. Subscription to the site gets you access to it only and they update content at the rate of one video per week but I still say it’s worth it. The content is unfortunately not downloadable you can only stream it and a trial version will have significantly limited features. Digital Pictures is however one of the most interactive sites that there is, it has accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Tumblr, Pinterest, Statig, Tumblr and has a Channel on Youtube. Members can also rate videos and models as well as comment on them. From there galleries can be organized according to most recently updated, highest rated, most viewed and the one with the most videos.

Positives

This site is as good as it gets as far as design goes, there’s no wastage of space and no excessive use of graphics either; everything comes together well. There’s a whole archive containing full length feature films with the equivalent updated every week. Digital Pictures also has one of the most interactive sites with such a strong social network presence that if you can’t find them that’s more of your fault than theirs. They also feature the best actors in the business and have won so many awards with the years that 2001 was the only year in this millennium they haven’t had a year they didn’t win an award.

Conclusion

Digital Pictures is a top tier site in the American adult film industry providing HD DVDs which are full length films. The site has been around for over 20 years and in this time has attracted some of the top talent in the business and has won multiple awards for this. Unfortunately it only allows for streaming of their content but given the quality it still manages to attract a strong market base. Digital Pictures has remained one step ahead of other sites by allowing for comments and ratings of their videos and models and by having some of the best social network presence of any group of sites.

Parting Shot

The stream only option is really a let down but their content is some of the best there is.
